The Rittal AX 1039.000 is a wide, low IP66 sheet steel compact enclosure of 600 x 380 x 210 mm (W x H x D), for places where height is limited but you need a long mounting plate: 550 x 355 mm.

Key features

Single door on one cam lock with a 3 mm double-bit insert; interchangeable hinge lets the door open from either side
550 x 355 mm zinc-plated mounting plate (2.5 mm), roughly 0.20 m² of build area
Cable entry through a size 4 gland plate fitted in the base
1.25 mm steel body, 1.5 mm door with an all-round foamed-in PU door seal; IP66 and IK10

Typical applications

Machine-side and conveyor controls, long terminal rows, and panels fitted above doors, benches or trunking where a taller box will not fit. For deeper components, 1339.000 has the same 600 x 380 mm face at 350 mm deep; 1038.000 is the portrait equivalent (380 x 600 x 210 mm). If the site is corrosive or washed down often, look at AX stainless steel or GRP instead.
