Tall and narrow, the Rittal AX 1038.000 is an IP66 sheet steel compact enclosure of 380 x 600 x 210 mm (W x H x D) for walls and columns where width is at a premium.

Typical applications
Vertical control layouts, lighting and building-services controls in risers and corridors, and I/O or terminal panels mounted beside a machine. If depth rather than width is the constraint, 1338.000 is the same face at 350 mm deep; 1039.000 turns the size on its side (600 x 380 x 210 mm). For hygiene areas or corrosive atmospheres, consider AX stainless steel; for a non-conductive housing, AX GRP.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529: dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. UL 50E Type 1, 3R, 4 and 12 (NEMA 1, 3R, 4, 12). Use glands rated at least as high to keep the rating.
