Typical applications
Panel builders use this size for small control and distribution assemblies, variable speed drive enclosures, pump and fan control panels and instrument marshalling. Europa does not recommend the STB range outdoors; for exposed or corrosive sites, use the stainless SSTB range.
Compliance
Rated IP66 to EN 60529: no dust ingress, and protection against powerful water jets from any direction. The rating only holds if glands, cut-outs and the door seal are made off correctly, and Europa asks that cut surfaces are treated and swarf removed.
