The Rittal AX 1091.000 is a 600 x 1000 x 400 mm (W x H x D) IP66 sheet steel compact enclosure, the deep version of the 600 x 1000 mm size, with a 545 x 975 mm mounting plate.
Key features
- Two cam locks with 3 mm double-bit inserts hold the single door; the hinge side can be swapped
- Zinc-plated mounting plate of 545 x 975 mm, 2.5 mm thick: about 0.53 m² for equipment
- Cable entry through a size 7 gland plate fitted in the base
- 1.5 mm steel body, 2 mm door, all-round foamed-in PU door seal; IP66, IK10
- 400 mm depth in a 600 mm-wide, 1000 mm-tall case
Typical applications
Drive panels, power distribution with deeper devices, and automation panels combining power supplies, contactors and door-mounted controls. Check that the wall and fixings suit the load. The 250 mm-deep 1090.000 has the same face. Where salt air, chemicals or regular washdown are expected, choose AX stainless steel or GRP.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529 and UL 50E Type 1, 3R, 4 and 12 (NEMA 1, 3R, 4, 12), so it is type rated for outdoor as well as indoor use. Impact rating IK10.
