The Rittal 8617.800 is a pack of two VX support rails with a 48 x 26 mm profile for enclosures 600 mm wide, made from zinc-plated sheet steel and supplied with assembly parts. Rittal gives an installation option for AX compact enclosures as well as for its VX systems.

Typical applications
Support rails span the width of the enclosure and give a horizontal member on which components and further interior parts can be mounted. In an AX enclosure 600 mm wide, the rail is fitted in conjunction with the AX interior installation rail, chosen by enclosure depth, and the AX base configuration rail 2394.100. Rittal lists the same rail for VX enclosures and for VX SE enclosures (with the adaptor rail for VX compatibility) of the same width, and for CX one-piece consoles and CX pedestals.
Rittal's accessory lists name this width for 17 AX enclosures: 13 in sheet steel and 4 in stainless steel.
