Rittal AX 1059.000 Sheet Steel Compact Enclosure 600 x 800 x 400 mm, IP66

The Rittal AX 1059.000 takes the 600 x 800 mm face to a 400 mm depth: an IP66 sheet steel compact enclosure of 600 x 800 x 400 mm (W x H x D) with a 545 x 775 mm mounting plate.

Key features

• Two cam locks with 3 mm double-bit inserts hold the single door; the hinge side can be swapped
• Mounting plate 545 x 775 mm, 2.5 mm thick and zinc-plated, giving about 0.42 m²
• One size 7 gland plate in the enclosure base for cable entry
• 1.5 mm steel body, 2 mm door with an all-round foamed-in PU door seal; IP66 and IK10
• 400 mm depth for deep equipment and heavily equipped doors

Typical applications

Deep equipment such as drives, soft starters and power supplies, or panels with a large number of door-mounted devices. If 250 mm is enough, 1058.000 has the same face. For washdown, coastal or chemical sites, step up to AX stainless steel or GRP.

Compliance

IP66 to IEC 60529 and UL 50E Type 1, 3R, 4 and 12 (NEMA 1, 3R, 4, 12), so it is type rated for outdoor as well as indoor use. Impact rating IK10.
