The Rittal AX 1077.000 is a square 760 x 760 x 210 mm (W x H x D) IP66 sheet steel compact enclosure with a 705 x 735 mm mounting plate, a single door on two cam locks and two gland plates in the base.
Key features
- Single door closing on two cam locks with 3 mm double-bit inserts; interchangeable hinge lets the door open from either side
- 705 x 735 mm zinc-plated mounting plate (2.5 mm), roughly 0.52 m² of build area
- Cable entry through two size 2 gland plates in the enclosure base
- 1.5 mm steel body, 2 mm door with an all-round foamed-in PU door seal; IP66 and IK10

Typical applications
Distribution boards and control panels with long rows of DIN-rail equipment, lighting control and building management panels, and marshalling where many cables enter from below. Allow room in front for the single door to swing open. For deeper equipment, 1073.000 is the same face at 300 mm deep. For washdown, coastal or chemical sites, step up to AX stainless steel or GRP.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529: dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. UL 50E Type 1, 3R, 4 and 12 (NEMA 1, 3R, 4, 12). Use glands rated at least as high to keep the rating.
