Product details
The Rittal AX 1015.000 is a 400 x 500 x 210 mm compact enclosure in brushed 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel, rated IP66 and IK10. It moves up from junction-box sizes to a small control panel, with a 350 x 475 mm mounting plate for a starter, controller and terminals, and a door secured by two cam locks.

Typical applications
Starter and control panels for a pump, fan or mixer, extract and ventilation controls, and local control stations in food production, bottling and packing halls. 1.4301 (AISI 304) suits routine washdown with standard cleaning agents; for chloride exposure such as salt air or chlorine-based sanitisers, 1.4404 (AISI 316L) is the better grade.
Compliance
Protection category IP66 to IEC 60529: dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. Type rated to UL 50E Type 1, 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and NEMA 1, 3R, 4, 4X and 12. Impact protection IK10, the highest IK code (20 joules).
