Product details
The Rittal AX 1302.000 is a 300 x 380 x 210 mm compact enclosure in brushed 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel, rated IP66 and IK10. Grade 316L contains molybdenum, which gives it better resistance to chloride pitting than 304, so this is the small enclosure to specify where salt air, chlorinated water or chemical splash will reach it.

Typical applications
Junction and terminal boxes at coastal and harbour installations, instrument connection boxes in water and wastewater treatment, and local isolator or control boxes near chemical storage, dosing points or road-salt spray. Where chlorides are not a concern, the same size in 1.4301 (AISI 304) is Rittal 1005.000.
Compliance
