The Rittal 2580.000 is a closed small seal insert, with no cable opening, supplied in a pack of 10. It seals any position in Rittal's modular cable entry system that is not carrying a cable.

Typical applications
Few cable entries are fully used on day one. Fit a closed insert in every spare position so the entry stays sealed, then exchange it for a sized insert when a new cable is added. Keep a few spare for alterations and maintenance.
Compliance
Type rating to UL 50E: Type 1, Type 12 and Type 4X (indoor use only).
Compatibility: small inserts fit Rittal's modular sealing frames (eight in the 2583.080, ten in the 2583.100) and are catalogued with the modular plastic gland plates 2561.200 to 2567.200. Rittal lists the inserts for 20 AX stainless steel compact enclosures, such as 300 x 300 x 210 mm and 600 x 760 x 210 mm; the frames are also listed for AX sheet steel enclosures.
