Product details
A landscape-format stainless steel compact enclosure, 380 x 300 x 210 mm, the Rittal AX 1011.000 is made from brushed 1.4301 (AISI 304) and rated IP66. Being wider than it is tall, its 330 x 275 mm mounting plate favours horizontal rows of terminals, relays or interface modules where headroom is limited, for example under a conveyor or above a work surface.

Typical applications
Sensor and actuator marshalling on filling, bottling and packaging lines, signal interface boxes on conveyors, and small local panels in hygiene-sensitive food and drink production. 304 stainless is the usual choice for routine washdown; where chlorides are present, such as salt air or chlorinated cleaning agents, look at a 1.4404 (AISI 316L) enclosure.
Compliance
Protection category IP66 to IEC 60529: dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. Type rated to UL 50E Type 1, 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and NEMA 1, 3R, 4, 4X and 12. Impact protection IK10, the highest IK code (20 joules).
