Product details
The Rittal AX 1444.000 is a square GRP compact enclosure, 400 x 400 x 200 mm (W x H x D), with a solid door sealed to IP66 and an IK09 impact rating. Its 305 x 325 mm mounting plate is 100 mm wider than the plate in the 300 x 400 mm size, which suits longer rows of devices.

Typical applications
Well suited to a small distribution or control panel on an outside wall: a row of protective devices with terminals below, a compact controller with its I/O, or local control for pumps, fans and valves at water, agricultural or coastal sites. Rittal recommends spray-finishing with PUR paint if the enclosure will see long-term UV (sunlight) and rain. Variants: 1448.000 adds a polycarbonate viewing window (IP56); 9204.100 is for hazardous areas.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529. Type 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12 to UL 50E; NEMA 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12. Meets the F1 outdoor rating to UL 746C. Fire protection corresponding to UL 94-V0.
