The Rittal AX 1454.000 is a 500 x 500 x 300 mm (W x H x D) GRP compact enclosure with a polycarbonate viewing window, rated IP56 and IK09. It combines at-a-glance visibility with the 300 mm depth needed for bulkier components.

Typical applications
A good fit for control panels with a display, meter or status lamps that operators read regularly, where the components need more depth than a 200 mm enclosure gives, for example at pumping stations, farms and process plant. IP56 means dust-protected rather than dust-tight; if that matters, the solid-door 1453.000 is IP66. Where it will face long-term sun and rain, Rittal recommends a PUR paint finish to keep the surface from weathering visually.
Compliance
IP56 to IEC 60529. Type 12 to UL 50E (NEMA 12); for a Type 4X rating, choose the solid-door 1453.000. Meets the F1 outdoor rating to UL 746C. Fire protection corresponding to UL 94-V0.
