Product details

The Rittal 2468.000 is a 40 mm push-button insert for Rittal handle systems. It gives push-button operation of the handle and suits doors where operators need quick access and a keyed lock is not required. For a push-button combined with a key lock, see 2469.100, the current replacement for 2469.000.

Typical applications

Machine and process control enclosures that operators open often, and panels inside a room that is already locked, where a key at every enclosure door would slow down routine work.

In the AX range Rittal lists it for the comfort handles 2435.100 and 2435.400 (larger AX enclosures with a 3-point lock system) and the mini-comfort handle 1485.600 (AX plastic enclosures). Its accessory lists match it to 26 AX enclosures: nine sheet steel and three stainless steel enclosures with 3-point locking, and 14 AX GRP enclosures. Rittal states it is for the corresponding Rittal handle systems only.
