Product details
The Rittal AX 1432.000 is a wall-mounted GRP compact enclosure measuring 250 x 350 x 150 mm (W x H x D), sealed to IP66 and impact-rated IK09. The smallest AX GRP size we list, it is a neat, corrosion-resistant housing for a handful of devices.
Key features
- Slim 150 mm depth and a single 3 mm double-bit lock
- 155 x 275 mm zinc-plated steel mounting plate, 2.5 mm thick, supplied
- GRP body and door: non-conductive (protection class II at 1000 V AC) and corrosion resistant
- Foamed-in PU door seal plus a twin top and bottom seal that acts as a rain strip
- Door hinged on the right, changeable to the left
Typical applications
Suited to small circuits in wet, outdoor or chemically aggressive places: a local isolator, a few terminals and relays for a pump or fan, or a sensor junction point on a building exterior or at a treatment works. For long-term exposure to sunlight and rain, Rittal recommends spray-finishing the surface with a PUR paint to prevent visual deterioration. For hazardous areas, the AX Ex enclosure 9202.100 has the same external dimensions.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529. Type 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12 to UL 50E; NEMA 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12. Meets the F1 outdoor rating to UL 746C. Fire protection corresponding to UL 94-V0.
