The Rittal AX 1480.000 is an 800 x 1000 x 300 mm (W x H x D) GRP compact enclosure with a solid door, rated IP66 and IK09, and the largest AX GRP size we list. It provides a 705 x 925 mm mounting plate in 3 mm zinc-plated steel, with three door locks.

Typical applications
Main control panels, control for several motors, or distribution at water and wastewater works, chemical plant, coastal installations and utility sites. Plan handling and wall fixings for the loaded weight. For long-term exposure to sunlight and rain, Rittal recommends spray-finishing the surface with a PUR paint to prevent visual deterioration. Variants: 1479.000 with a viewing window (IP56); 9209.100 for hazardous areas.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529. Type 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12 to UL 50E; NEMA 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12. Meets the F1 outdoor rating to UL 746C. Fire protection corresponding to UL 94-V0.
