Product details
A pack of two door stays for AX plastic enclosures, including the plastic Ex enclosures for hazardous areas. A door stay holds the door open while you work inside, so it does not swing back during wiring, testing or maintenance. The stays mount at the top or bottom and come with assembly parts.
Key features
- Pack of 2, with assembly parts
- Mounting position: top or bottom
- Installed directly at the top or bottom right
- Can be removed and re-installed if the door hinge is moved to the opposite side
- For AX plastic enclosures and plastic Ex enclosures
Typical applications
Wiring, commissioning, inspection and maintenance of AX plastic enclosures, where a door held open leaves both hands free for the work.
Rittal's accessory lists match this door stay to 22 enclosures in our range (14 AX plastic and 8 AX plastic Ex), including sizes such as 250 x 350 x 150 mm and 500 x 500 x 300 mm. AX plastic and AX plastic Ex enclosures appear in our range as AX GRP and AX GRP Ex. On Ex enclosures, whoever builds the finished assembly remains responsible for making sure it still meets its certification once accessories are fitted.
