Product details
The Rittal AX 1434.000 is a GRP compact enclosure of 300 x 400 x 200 mm (W x H x D), rated IP66 and IK09, for small control and terminal duties in corrosive or outdoor locations. Compared with the 250 x 350 mm 1432.000 it gains 50 mm of depth, a 205 x 325 mm mounting plate and a second door lock.

- Non-conductive GRP: protection class II at 1000 V AC, corrosion resistant
- Twin top and bottom door seal doubles as a rain strip, backing up the foamed-in PU seal
Typical applications
A practical size for a small motor starter or relay control circuit, instrument and sensor terminations, or a control point for irrigation, drainage or ventilation equipment, with the extra depth easing cable bending. Where it will face long-term sun and rain, Rittal recommends a PUR paint finish to keep the surface from weathering visually. The hazardous-area version of this size is 9203.100.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529. Type 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12 to UL 50E; NEMA 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12. Meets the F1 outdoor rating to UL 746C. Fire protection corresponding to UL 94-V0.
