Product details
The Rittal AX 1453.000 is a GRP compact enclosure of 500 x 500 x 300 mm (W x H x D), rated IP66 and IK09. It is the most compact of the 300 mm-deep AX GRP sizes we list, with a 405 x 425 mm mounting plate in 3 mm zinc-plated steel.

Typical applications
Choose the extra depth for taller components such as larger contactors, control transformers and power supplies, or where heavy cables need room to bend. Typical sites are water and wastewater works, agricultural buildings and chemical plant, indoors or out. Rittal recommends spray-finishing with PUR paint if the enclosure will see long-term UV (sunlight) and rain. Related: 1454.000 is this size with a viewing window; 9207.100 is the hazardous-area version.
Compliance
IP66 to IEC 60529. Type 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12 to UL 50E; NEMA 1, 3R, 3RX, 4, 4X and 12. Meets the F1 outdoor rating to UL 746C. Fire protection corresponding to UL 94-V0.
