Terasaki 000973 is a 12 V DC shunt trip for TemBreak 2 MCCBs on the 160 A, 250 A and 400 A frames. It has the lowest coil voltage of the TemBreak 2 shunt trips we list, for trip circuits powered from a 12 V battery or DC supply, and it trips the breaker the moment the coil is energised.

Typical applications
Battery-backed control and alarm panels working at 12 V DC, small standby power systems, and interfaces where the tripping signal comes from 12 V equipment. A discharged battery means no trip; where fail-safe action is needed, use an under-voltage release.
