Product details
The Terasaki 000928 shunt trip has a 380-450 V AC coil, so on a 400/415 V three-phase system the trip supply can be taken straight across two phases. Fitted in a TemBreak 2 MCCB on the 160 A, 250 A or 400 A frame, it trips the breaker as soon as a remote contact applies voltage to the coil.

- One coil position per breaker: shunt trip or under-voltage release, never both

Typical applications
Motor control and distribution panels whose control wiring runs at 400 V, panels with no neutral available at the breaker, and remote tripping from emergency stops, interlocks or protection relays on three-phase plant. Make sure stop buttons and relay contacts in the trip circuit are rated for line voltage. Like any shunt trip it needs its supply to operate; for tripping on loss of supply, use an under-voltage release.
