The Terasaki 000959 shunt trip carries a 100-120 V DC coil for tripping TemBreak 2 MCCBs from a 110 V DC battery supply, a common arrangement in switchrooms and substations. With the trip energy coming from the battery, the breaker can still be tripped remotely while the AC supply is down.
