Terasaki 000966 is a 200-240 V DC shunt trip for TemBreak 2 MCCBs on the 160 A, 250 A and 400 A frames. It is intended for installations whose control and protection run from a 220 V DC battery system, as found in power stations, large switchrooms and some process plants.

Typical applications
Protection relay tripping and emergency shutdown in generation, water treatment and process plants that standardise on a 220 V DC auxiliary system, where breakers must be tripped whatever the state of the AC supply. Low-voltage distribution boards on these sites can then share the same DC trip scheme as the rest of the switchgear.
Fits TemBreak 2 S160-NF, S160-NJ, S160-GJ, S250-NJ, S250-GJ, S250-NE, S250-GE, S400-NJ and S400-NE MCCBs and the S400-NN switch-disconnector. For a 230 V AC trip supply, the AC version is 000911.
