Product details
The Terasaki 003455 shunt trip has a 48 V DC coil and suits TemBreak 2 Lite breakers on the 160 A and 250 A frames. It is the choice where the tripping supply is a 48 V DC system, such as the battery-backed DC power in telecom rooms and some standby power installations, so the breaker can still be tripped while the mains is down.

Typical applications
Telecom and data equipment rooms with 48 V DC power systems, standby power plant with a 48 V DC control supply, and remote tripping from monitoring equipment that runs on the same supply. Because the battery keeps the coil supplied through a mains failure, a trip command can still be acted on.
For TemBreak 2 Lite S160-SCJ breakers (160 A frame) and the E250-SJ, S250-SJ and S250-SN (250 A frame). Auxiliary and alarm switches can be added to the same breaker.
