Product details
The Terasaki 003462 is a shunt trip with a 100-120 V DC coil for TemBreak 2 Lite breakers on the 160 A and 250 A frames. It is meant for the 110 V DC battery supplies that often power protection and tripping in substations and large switchrooms, so low-voltage breakers can be tripped from the same battery as the rest of the protection scheme.

- Low current draw: 0.011 A peak exciting current
- No anti-burn switch; the coil is rated for continuous duty
- Breaker contacts usually start opening within 30 ms of rated voltage

Typical applications
Intertripping from protection relays on a 110 V DC battery, tripping LV auxiliary supplies in substations, and remote trip circuits in plant where the DC system keeps control power available during a mains failure. Fit an alarm switch where the trip must be reported back to the SCADA or protection panel.
