Product details
Terasaki 000911 is a TemBreak 2 shunt trip with a 200-240 V AC coil. It suits trip circuits fed at 230 V, typically taken from a phase and neutral inside the panel, so a breaker on the 160 A, 250 A or 400 A frame can be tripped from a remote point without adding a control transformer.
Key features
- 200-240 V AC coil for 230 V control wiring
- Energising the coil trips the breaker, from a stop button, relay or interface contact anywhere on the circuit
- Internal fit: unclip the front cover with a screwdriver and press the trip into the coil position until it clicks
- Occupies the position the under-voltage release would use, so fit one or the other
- Wiring to its own screw terminals, or to the optional clip-on side terminal block
Typical applications
Emergency stop buttons for commercial kitchens, plant rooms and workshops wired at 230 V, fire alarm interface relays that switch a 230 V trip supply, and load shedding commands from a BMS. Bear in mind that a shunt trip only works while its supply is present; if the breaker must trip on loss of supply, choose an under-voltage release instead.
Compatible with TemBreak 2 S160-NF, S160-NJ and S160-GJ (160 A frame), S250-NJ, S250-GJ, S250-NE and S250-GE (250 A frame), S400-NJ and S400-NE, and the S400-NN switch-disconnector (400 A frame), including those fitted in Resilience Standard and Resilience Plus boards.
