The Terasaki 003479 shunt trip carries a 200-240 V DC coil for TemBreak 2 Lite breakers on the 160 A and 250 A frames. It matches 220 V DC battery systems, as used in power stations and some heavy industrial switchrooms, where a station battery provides the tripping power.

- Coil rated 200-240 V DC; it operates between 75 % and 125 % of rated voltage
- 0.011 A peak exciting current, the same as the 100-120 V DC version
- Continuous-duty coil, without an anti-burn switch
- Opening of the main contacts usually starts within 30 ms
- Goes in the single trip-coil position, so an under-voltage release cannot be fitted as well
Typical applications
Low-voltage boards in generating plant and large process sites that use a 220 V DC station battery for control and tripping, remote trips from the site's protection or control system, and replacement coils where existing equipment is already wired for 220 V DC. Auxiliary and alarm switches can be added to the breaker to return its position and trip status.
Fits the S160-SCJ on the 160 A frame and the E250-SJ, S250-SJ and S250-SN on the 250 A frame (TemBreak 2 Lite).
