Product details
The Europa STBKEYLOCK is a key lock for STB epoxy coated steel and SSTB stainless steel enclosures, supplied keyed alike so one key opens every enclosure fitted with it.
Key features
- Key lock for Europa STB and SSTB enclosures
- All keys alike, so a single key covers every enclosure on the site fitted with this lock
- Replaces the standard closure where key control is needed rather than a tool-operated catch
- Suits enclosures in public, shared or unsupervised areas
- Genuine Europa part, so it fits the door cut-out without modification
Typical applications
Key locks go on enclosures that untrained people can reach: car parks, plant rooms shared with other trades, school and hospital corridors, leisure centres, retail back-of-house, agricultural buildings and any outdoor-adjacent position. Being keyed alike, this lock suits a maintenance team that has to open many enclosures on a round without carrying a bunch of keys - the trade-off is that it gives common-key access rather than individual security, so for enclosures that need restricted access, use a keyed-to-differ or high-security lock instead. It fits both the epoxy coated STB range and the stainless SSTB range, which keeps stock simple on a mixed site. Spare keys are available separately as STBKEY020.
