Product details
Terasaki 001253 is an under-voltage release with a 200-240 V DC coil, for TemBreak 2 MCCBs where the control system runs from a 220 V DC battery. Installed in a breaker on the 160 A, 250 A or 400 A frame, it opens the breaker if the DC voltage disappears and holds it off until the supply is back.

Typical applications
Power stations, large switchrooms and process plants with 220 V DC auxiliary systems, where circuits must be disconnected if the DC supply is lost, and fail-safe emergency stop chains run at that voltage. Time-delayed tripping on TemBreak 2 uses an external controller that clips to the side of the breaker.
For TemBreak 2 S160-NF, S160-NJ, S160-GJ, S250-NJ, S250-GJ, S250-NE, S250-GE, S400-NJ and S400-NE MCCBs and the S400-NN switch-disconnector. For a 230 V AC supply, the AC version is 001215.
