Product details
The Terasaki 001246 under-voltage release has a 100-120 V DC coil, for TemBreak 2 MCCBs on sites that run control and protection from a 110 V DC battery. Fitted in a breaker on the 160 A, 250 A or 400 A frame, it trips the breaker if that DC supply fails or a series stop contact opens, and keeps it off until the voltage is restored.

Typical applications
Switchrooms and substations with 110 V DC auxiliary systems, where loss of the DC supply must take circuits off, and fail-safe tripping chains wired through station alarms, interlocks or emergency stops. For a delayed trip, add the external time-delay controller that clips to the breaker side.
