Product details
Terasaki 001215 is an under-voltage release with a 200-240 V AC coil for TemBreak 2 MCCBs on the 160 A, 250 A and 400 A frames. Supplied at 230 V, it trips the breaker if that voltage collapses and prevents the breaker being reclosed until the supply is back, so connected equipment cannot start up again unattended.

- A normally closed stop button or contact in series with the coil supply gives remote tripping
- Fits in the breaker's trip-coil position: unclip the front cover, push the release in until it clicks
- Cannot be fitted alongside a shunt trip, which uses the same position
Typical applications
Loss-of-supply protection on circuits feeding motors, pumps and machine tools that must not restart by themselves, emergency stop circuits wired at 230 V, and schemes that disconnect loads when a monitored 230 V supply fails. A time-delayed trip needs the external TemBreak 2 time-delay controller that clips to the breaker side.
Compatible with TemBreak 2 S160-NF, S160-NJ and S160-GJ (160 A frame), S250-NJ, S250-GJ, S250-NE and S250-GE (250 A frame), S400-NJ and S400-NE, and the S400-NN switch-disconnector (400 A frame).
