Product details
The Terasaki 001222 under-voltage release has a 380-450 V AC coil, so it can be connected across two phases of a 400/415 V supply with no neutral needed. Fitted in a TemBreak 2 MCCB on the 160 A, 250 A or 400 A frame, it trips the breaker when that line voltage is lost and holds it off until the voltage returns.
Key features
- 380-450 V AC coil, connected line to line on 400/415 V systems
- Trips on loss of the monitored voltage; no neutral required
- Remote tripping: wire a stop pushbutton or normally closed contact into the coil circuit
- Internal, field-fitted accessory that clicks into the trip-coil position
- Shares its position with the shunt trip, so a breaker takes one or the other
Typical applications
Three-phase motor and pump distribution where plant must stay off after a supply failure until someone resets it, panels with no neutral at the breaker, and fail-safe stop circuits wired at 400 V. Check that any stop button or relay contact in series with the coil is rated for line voltage. Delayed tripping needs the external time-delay controller that clips to the breaker side.
For TemBreak 2 S160-NF, S160-NJ, S160-GJ, S250-NJ, S250-GJ, S250-NE, S250-GE, S400-NJ and S400-NE MCCBs and the S400-NN switch-disconnector.
