Product details
Terasaki 001239 is a 24 V DC under-voltage release for TemBreak 2 MCCBs on the 160 A, 250 A and 400 A frames. The breaker can stay closed only while the 24 V DC coil is energised, so a safety relay, PLC output or emergency stop chain at 24 V DC trips the breaker simply by removing that voltage.

Typical applications
Fail-safe emergency stop and safety relay circuits at 24 V DC, PLC-controlled isolation where losing the control signal must open the breaker, and fire alarm interfaces that remove a 24 V supply to shut plant down. If the 24 V supply itself fails, the breaker trips too, so feed the release from a reliable or battery-backed source. Delayed tripping needs the external clip-on time-delay controller.
