TRPHXSK2E is Terasaki's Type 2 incoming surge kit for the TRPHXINC incomer housing of an 800 A Resilience Plus panel board, the housing that takes a 1250AF incoming device. Being fitted within the housing, it leaves all of the board's outgoing ways for MCCBs.

Typical applications
Type 2 devices limit transient overvoltages caused by switching and by lightning that strikes near the building or its supply rather than the building itself, and they are the common choice for distribution boards where no Type 1 requirement applies.
