TRPHXSK1E is a Type 1 incoming surge kit for the Resilience Plus TRPHXINC housing, the 800 A incomer housing for a 1250AF incoming device. The surge protection is built into the incomer housing, so none of the board's outgoing ways is used.

Typical applications
Type 1 surge protective devices are intended to carry partial lightning current. They are the usual choice where the building has an external lightning protection system, or where protection against the effects of direct strikes has been specified, and they sit at or near the origin of the installation. On the largest Resilience Plus boards, typically the main LV board of a sizeable commercial, public or industrial building, this kit provides that protection at the incomer. The installation design decides which type applies.
