TRP250SK1E is a Type 1 incoming surge kit for the 250AF incomer housing of a Resilience Plus panel board. The surge protection is fitted inside the incomer housing (TRP250INC) rather than in the board, so every outgoing way stays available for MCCBs.

Typical applications
Type 1 surge protective devices are intended to carry partial lightning current. They are the usual choice where the building has an external lightning protection system, or where protection against the effects of direct strikes has been specified, and they sit at or near the origin of the installation. The kit therefore suits 400 A Resilience Plus boards in that position, such as the main board of a commercial or light industrial building. The installation design decides between Type 1 and Type 2.
