Product details
The Terasaki 002557 alarm switch (AL) reports that a TemBreak 2 Lite breaker on the 160 A or 250 A frame has tripped. Its changeover contact ignores normal on and off switching and changes state only on a trip, so a remote alarm is raised for faults rather than for routine operation. This is the left-pole version.
Key features
- Trip-only signal: 91-94 closes when the breaker trips, while in the on and off positions 91-94 stays open and 91-92 closed
- Left-pole version: a breaker can take two alarm switches, and the second, right-pole switch is a different Terasaki part
- Internal accessory, fitted under the breaker's single-screw accessory cover
- One part for both the 160 A and the 250 A frame
- Combines with auxiliary switches and with either a shunt trip or an under-voltage release
Typical applications
Trip alarms to a building management system or SCADA, a fault lamp or sounder on the panel, and critical outgoing ways in a Resilience board where the operator needs to know that a circuit went off on a fault, not by someone's hand. Fitted together with a shunt trip, it also confirms that a remote trip command has worked.
Fits TemBreak 2 Lite S160-SCJ breakers on the 160 A frame and the E250-SJ, S250-SJ and S250-SN on the 250 A frame.
Add it to your cart, or ask us if you also need the right-pole version for a second alarm contact.
