Typical applications
Wall-mounted IT and network enclosures where the socket outlets should have their own circuit breaker at the strip. These are continental sockets, not UK type G (BS 1363), so check the plugs on the equipment to be connected. Depending on the load, Rittal recommends allowing a reserve for starting-current peaks so that protective devices do not trip unintentionally.
Compliance
Rittal's data lists DIN VDE 0620-1 for the sockets.
Compatibility: Rittal lists this strip for its four AX IT wall-mounted enclosures, all 600 mm wide: 7641.350, 7643.350 and 7645.350 (380, 600 and 760 mm high, 350 mm deep) and 7646.400 (800 mm high, 400 mm deep). It mounts on components with a 25 mm pitch pattern, on the enclosure frame, at the 482.6 mm (19-inch) level, or horizontally at the rear of an IT wall-mounted distributor where the width allows.
