The Rittal 7240.200 is a 19-inch socket strip with 12 IEC 320 C13 sockets, rated 16 A at 250 V AC, for distributing power to IT and network equipment. The anodised aluminium section is 482.6 mm long and 44 mm high, with a 2 m connection cable finished with wire end ferrules.

Typical applications

Distributing power to servers, switches and other IT equipment connected by IEC leads in wall-mounted network and IT enclosures. Depending on the load, Rittal recommends allowing a reserve for starting-current peaks so that protective devices do not trip unintentionally.

Compliance

Rittal's data gives EN 60320-2-2 as the applicable standard.

Compatibility: Rittal lists this strip for its four AX IT wall-mounted enclosures, all 600 mm wide: 7641.350, 7643.350 and 7645.350 (380, 600 and 760 mm high, 350 mm deep) and 7646.400 (800 mm high, 400 mm deep). It mounts on components with a 25 mm pitch pattern, on the enclosure frame, at the 482.6 mm (19-inch) level, or horizontally at the rear of an IT wall-mounted distributor where the width allows.
