Europa's STB705025A is a 500 x 700 x 250 mm IP66 powder coated steel enclosure built for panel builders and contractors who want a robust, sealed housing for distribution and control equipment.

Typical applications
At this size the enclosure becomes the body of a control panel or sub-distribution board: multi-way distribution, compact motor control centres, drive and inverter panels, PLC and SCADA cabinets or building services control. It suits process plant, factories, water and waste sites and commercial buildings. The portrait format suits tall gear stacks and narrow wall spaces. Europa does not recommend the STB range outdoors; for exposed or corrosive sites, use the stainless SSTB range.
Compliance
Rated IP66 to EN 60529: no dust ingress, and protection against powerful water jets from any direction. The rating only holds if glands, cut-outs and the door seal are made off correctly, and Europa asks that cut surfaces are treated and swarf removed.
