The Europa 32 A 415 V 3P+E weatherproof interlocked socket provides a four-pin three-phase connection point with local switched isolation, sealed to IP67 for yards, farms, quarries and process plant.

Typical applications
Three-phase machinery of around 23 kVA without a neutral, such as outdoor compressors, chillers, pumps, mixers and materials handling plant in yards, farms, quarries and process areas.
Compliance
IP67, as defined in BS EN 60529, means dust-tight and able to withstand the effects of temporary immersion in water, and is the rating to specify for outdoor, wash-down and flood-prone positions. The rating applies to the unit as installed, with a matching plug or the outlet cover correctly in place. The outlet follows the IEC 60309 industrial pin-and-sleeve pattern. There is no integral residual current protection in this range, so RCD protection must be provided upstream where BS 7671 requires it.
