The Europa 16 A 415 V 3P+E weatherproof interlocked socket is a four-pin three-phase outlet with an interlocked isolating switch, sealed to IP67 for outdoor plant, agricultural buildings and process areas that are washed down.

Typical applications

Compliance
IP67, as defined in BS EN 60529, means dust-tight and able to withstand the effects of temporary immersion in water, and is the rating to specify for outdoor, wash-down and flood-prone positions. The rating applies to the unit as installed, with a matching plug or the outlet cover correctly in place. The outlet follows the IEC 60309 industrial pin-and-sleeve pattern. There is no integral residual current protection in this range, so RCD protection must be provided upstream where BS 7671 requires it.
