The Europa 32 A 110 V 2P+E weatherproof interlocked socket suits heavier reduced low voltage plant in exposed positions, combining an IEC 60309 outlet with an interlocked isolating switch inside an IP67 enclosure.

Typical applications

Compliance
IP67, as defined in BS EN 60529, means dust-tight and able to withstand the effects of temporary immersion in water, and is the rating to specify for outdoor, wash-down and flood-prone positions. The rating applies to the unit as installed, with a matching plug or the outlet cover correctly in place. The outlet follows the IEC 60309 industrial pin-and-sleeve pattern. There is no integral residual current protection in this range, so RCD protection must be provided upstream where BS 7671 requires it.
