Product details
Terasaki 080586 is a terminal cover for 3-pole TemBreak 2 MCCBs on the 250 A frame that have been fitted with cable clamps. It shrouds the clamped terminals at one end of the breaker, so live parts cannot be touched once the cables are in.
Key features
- Made for cable-clamp terminals rather than plain front connection
- Plugs into the breaker body, no screws needed
- 4 mm diameter hole above each terminal for insulation-resistance (megger) tests with the cover on
- One cover per pack; clamped terminals at both ends need two
Typical applications
Breakers terminated with Terasaki cable clamps (081354 for 3-pole 250 A frame breakers) in panel boards, switchboards and control panels where the clamped terminals must be shrouded. Fit the cover once the cables are clamped and tightened, and use the test holes for insulation checks during commissioning and maintenance.
Fits the TemBreak 2 S250-NJ, S250-GJ, S250-NE and S250-GE 3-pole breakers when fitted with cable clamps. As with other TemBreak 2 terminal covers, it is not used together with interpole barriers.
