The Rittal 8617.170 is a pack of four VX punched sections with a 23 x 64 mm profile, sized for a 1400 mm enclosure height and made from zinc-plated sheet steel, with assembly parts supplied. The section belongs to Rittal's VX system, but Rittal gives installation options for AX compact enclosures, which is why it appears on AX accessory lists.

Typical applications
Punched sections add fixing lines inside an enclosure beyond the mounting plate, giving positions for interior parts, brackets and components.
