A three-phase TT arrester sums the lightning current from all three lines into its neutral-to-earth path, which is why that cartridge is rated at 50kA rather than 25kA. This Mersen SP12-50K-N is the replacement for four-pole Surge-Trap STPT12 devices in that position.
