Product details
Three-phase combined arresters on TT and TN-S systems use a 3+1 arrangement, and the single neutral module carries the spark gap from neutral to earth. This DEHN neutral (N) module is the replacement for that pole, plugging into the base part without any conductors being disturbed.

Typical applications
Three-phase Type 1 protection is fitted at intake positions in industrial premises, agricultural buildings, water and wastewater sites, telecom compounds and any structure with an external lightning protection system. On these sites the neutral module takes a heavy share of the partial lightning current, so it is the module most worth holding as a spare.

Combined Type 1 and Type 2 devices are classified under the BS EN 61643-11 series. Line and neutral modules are not interchangeable - fit only the neutral module specified for your arrester base.
