The Europa Sentinel SLCU6EV40B-SPD is the fullest specification in this group of EV charger supply boards, combining a 100A main switch, a 40A MCB, a Type B RCCB and a Type 2 surge protection device in one six-module metal-clad assembly. It is the board to specify when the charger does not provide its own DC fault protection and the installation also warrants surge protection, which covers a large share of external charge points on long supply runs.

Europa states that the range is designed to meet the requirements of the 18th Edition of BS 7671. The board is rated IP20 and is for indoor installation only, so an outdoor charge point must be fed from a board sited inside the building.
