The Europa Sentinel SLCU6EV40A is a six-module metal-clad supply board built for an EV charge point installation, arriving with the 100A main switch, 40A MCB and Type A RCCB already fitted and wired. Buying the protection as one assembly takes the guesswork out of a charger installation: the devices are matched, the board is declared to BS EN 61439-3, and site work is termination rather than a part-by-part build on an existing board.

Typical applications

Where it does not, specify the Type B version of this board, so check the charger manufacturer's instructions first.

Built to BS EN 61439-3, with the fitted devices declared to BS EN 60947-3 (main switch), BS EN 61008-1 (RCCB) and BS EN 60898-1 (MCB). Europa states that the range is designed to meet the requirements of the 18th Edition of BS 7671. The board is rated IP20 and is for indoor installation only, so an outdoor charge point must be fed from a board sited inside the building.
