The 250 AF electronic types fit the hybrid and Form 3b Resilience Plus boards as outgoing ways; the 400 AF type fits the twin 400 AF board; the 800 AF and 1250 AF types are incomers for the Plus incomer housings.

Is a neutral CT needed?

On a 3 pole electronic MCCB protecting a circuit with a neutral, the manufacturer's guidance on an external neutral CT applies; ask us with the application details.

An electronic MCCB replaces the bimetal and magnetic elements of a thermal-magnetic breaker with a current-sensing trip unit whose settings are adjusted on the front of the device. That makes it the choice where discrimination between a main board and its sub-boards matters, where the circuit rating sits between the fixed ratings, or where the protection has to be documented to a setting.

Terasaki's TemBreak 2 electronic types in the shop run from the 250 A frame S250-NE (36 kA) and S250-GE (65 kA) through the 400 A frame S400-NE to the 800 A frame S800-NE and the 1250 A frame S1250-SE incomers. Filter by rated current and breaking capacity; each page carries the series datasheet.
